Rich Cook Visit

Our class went to have a meeting with Rich Cook, who is the venture center director for the West Michigan Science and Technology Initiative company.

The topic of medical illustration came up and Rich said that he knew someone in that field.  He went on to explain Jim Resau's job description.  Jim takes microscope photographs for medical research.  Growing up I was always fascinated with the human body, but I could never do all of the "blood and guts."  But this may be a loop hole to avoid that aspect of science.  It would be interesting to look into that field more, it may help me look at the commercial aspect of photography in a new light.

So I hope in the near future to set up a meeting with Jim Resau to discuss medial illustration in more detail.
